Mean Median Mode of Grouped Data:
The numerical expression of a large collection of numerical data are called Measures of Central Tendency, namely Mean, Median and Mode.
A certain value representative of the whole data and signifiying its characteristics is called and average of the data.
Three types of averages are for analysing data. They are (i) Mean (ii) Median (iii) Mode.
Mean: The mean of a set of numbers is obtained by dividing the sum of numbers of the set by the number of numbers.
Median: Median is the value of middle term of a set of varibles when the variables of the set are arranged in ascending or descending order.
Mode: Mode is the value which occurs most frequently in a set of observations. It is the point of maximum frequency.
